emBOLDen Alliances is Back in Nepal

EA is currently in Nepal, working on longer-term, community-driven rebuilding while engaging prior partners who helped with direct/immediate response and intermediate response. Current projects include First Aid Train-the-Trainer for Teachers in remote areas, technical support to community-driven rebuilding projects, and technical, operational, and programmatic support to livelihood programs for Rasuwa Survivors and Rasuwa communities. With your support response is continued through at least May 2016, and potentially longer.

Story of the Nepali Headmaster

Outside of Lukla, this school Headmaster [pictured left] works tirelessly to rebuild the secondary school that was destroyed in the April 2015 Nepal Earthquake. emBOLDen Alliances works with its partners to help rebuild the institutions that are so essential to the well‐being and future of Nepal. emBOLDen Alliances’ final stop in Nepal is at this Headmaster’s school to administer the First Aid Train-the-Trainer program so that teachers in remote areas are better able to respond to future disasters and minor injuries.
