emBOLDen Alliances is all about connecting organizations and people who can help one another. Working together for a goal benefits everyone involved, and we are all able to achieve more
In this case, we purchased handcrafted items from the Langtang Knitting Project–a group of women displaced by the April and May earthquakes in Nepal and who had lived in one of the most devastated regions. Assisted by our friends, Galen Murton and Patti Bonnet, as well as our awesome volunteers, we organized and now donated these items to the African Community Center, which helps resettles refugees in the Denver area.
As some of the refugees have never experienced a cold winter, the knitted scarfs, hats and booties will come in very handy. Plus, they will be looking very stylish!
Thank you to everyone involved for linking arms and ensuring that we are all truly better together!
